WELL established its new business unit, WELL Health USA, in July 2023. Leveraging technology and corporate shared services to empower the US portfolio and drive efficiencies for all lines of business–including credentialing services for credentialed employees as well as recruitment/HR support–WELL has also continued its focus on expanding public sector business, which was demonstrated with Ocean MD’s provincial collaboration to deliver healthcare efficiency applications throughout Canada in January 2022.

Our Technology
WELL is developing an extensive healthcare and digital platform with extensive front and back office management software applications for front office management including the leading digital EMR for Canada, multidisciplinary telehealth service, clinical practice workflows and physician productivity tools as well as FHIR interoperability solutions and AI ambient scribe. All this can be found through an open source app marketplace which gives physicians access to extend their clinical capabilities.
WELL has gained international attention through their distinct and cohesive market approach, drawing in some of the world’s top investors such as legendary Hong Kong investor Li Ka-shing who participated in all early investment rounds to drive WELL’s rapid expansion over several years.
WELL launched VirtualClinic+ – an integrated telehealth platform and service for Canadians integrated with OSCAR Pro EMR – in early March. Soon after its introduction, WELL successfully on-boarded physicians from various corporate owned clinics to use VirtualClinic+. Since then, WELL has also expanded this program to a significant number of physicians throughout both Ontario and British Columbia.
